I think its a real shame CA just couldn't keep SHINRA from coming here and podding people yesterday and starting all this.
Despite what anyone says CFS did want peace. CA didn't and that was the key to the war.

Shinra came in here and podded a couple indys yesterday BEFORE they were attacked. Shinra was attacked BECAUSE they pirated and blocked a gate.
Just because they were to have free access doesn't mean they had free run to pirate. They were still expected to live within our laws. Piracy is illegal in CFS space. Period.
Thats the excuse.

Our policy of pirates being KOS was well known. I find it impossible to believe RC "didn't know" if they read the forums at all.
Likewise Shinras attack on indy ships here prior to their own being attacked is another example of just not respecting another alliances soverignty.
The sad thing is we were working in the Senate on a way to allow former pirate corps to enter CFS space as "probation" corps. Allowing them to prove by their actions they had turned a corner and become honest. We want to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
Perhaps that was our problem. We were too forgiving after all these repeated incursions. But we want a free region not the iron curtain. We want honest people to enjoy themselves here and feel safe. Locking up Khanid is not an option for CFS nor has it ever been considered.
Looking at the podkills in Gehi then at our own casualty list (which isn't very big) proves CA is targeting EVERYONE not just CFS ships. Like true pirates they continue to attack anyone around.
So clearly that haven't reformed as they claimed. Instead Sarkos has launched a sneak attack Pearl Harbor style on the poor travellers of CFS. His only justification is "they were thinking of locking us out". Well that was only because you didn't keep your pirates out as you agreed to under the 48 hour cooldown period.
So CA has attacked CFS without warning. Coming into our space and ambushing innocent travellers not even in the CFS.
Pirates returning to what comes natural. I guess its hard to change years of evil genetics at work.

Who said we were bored? I figured you guys had enough wars going on. It was pretty obvious Khanid was the one peaceful place in Eve. Look how busy it is here. People came here to live in peace. Yet you still wandered in here.
As far as roleplaying goes - it is a battle of good versus evil. Evil pirates attacking the peaceful travelers in Khanid. Evil pirates continuously entering secure space despite repeated requests not to. Evil pirates continuously forcing the issue by coming here and provoking confrontation.
Purely from a gameplay/roleplay standpoint I enjoy being on the side of right. You'll recall I left my last company because they had strayed from the path of right as I saw it.
Despite the fact this is a game I wouldn't do things like rip off people, rob a corporation hangar and scam newbies and pod innocents. My desire to see people enjoy the game precludes that type of selfish irresponsible behavior. Sitting in the help channel some nights and seeing people angry and upset because of a scam proves that while its just a game some people can't seem to break from real life bad habits here.
Back to roleplaying though I am conviced good will triumph over the black shadow of pirate evil from Curse. The forces of light CC, CFS, FA, SA will bring an end to the evil empire that is CA.
(Just roleplaying you know).
